The OCCC Shield app serves as the official safety application for the Oklahoma City Community College District, designed to enhance the security and well-being of its users.

In the event of a dangerous situation, the app enables users to quickly contact campus safety personnel, streamlining communication in critical moments.

In addition to emergency contact features, OCCC Shield offers several practical tools:

 <li>Users can send text messages, photographs, and videos related to crime tips and suspicious activities directly to campus safety forces.</li>
 <li>The FriendWatch feature permits friends and family to track a user's location when walking alone to classes, adding an extra layer of safety.</li>
 <li>Access to campus shuttle schedules is conveniently available within the app.</li>
 <li>Users can locate essential campus resources, including the student handbook and emergency procedures.</li>
 <li>A mapping feature shows recent incidents and identifies safe locations on and around campus.</li>
