In addition to emergency contact features, OCCC Shield offers several practical tools:

• Users can send text messages, photographs, and videos related to crime tips and suspicious activities directly to campus safety forces.
• The FriendWatch feature permits friends and family to track a user's location when walking alone to classes, adding an extra layer of safety.
• Access to campus shuttle schedules is conveniently available within the app.
• Users can locate essential campus resources, including the student handbook and emergency procedures.
• A mapping feature shows recent incidents and identifies safe locations on and around campus.
